There was a fire behind my house last night. Along the path where I go running everyday. I had just written a short story about that area and then it was in flames. It is controlled now.
Speaking of fires, a friend based in Montenegro sent me a photo of fires there started by irresponsible humans in forests: cigarette buts and other stuff. It looked bad.
Yes - there are some serious fires in Southern Europe at the moment. The whole region is at risk of desertification with climate change so sadly this seems to be following predictions. It is also badly impacting harvests. I saw some farmers saying the UK has had the worst harvest this year they can remember due to lack of late spring/summer rain.
Yes - it is bound to cause food price inflation which then feeds into politics so I am not hopeful about the future. Best to stick to cats, virtual or otherwise! ๐
haha - I know the feeling Susan. I have periods of intense misanthropy which I try to avoid! ๐There are some very good people around - you just have to look hard sometimes!
I am in one of those periods. A cave in the Tibet sounds like an attractive alternative for habitat these days.
How hard? :D Perhaps Iโm not looking hard enough. But I was wondering this very minute whatโs the meaning of those thousands of dragonflies on the beach. It looks like a migratory event. I wonder if they know something climate-wise that we donโt know.

Ohh that sounds bad. :(

Itโs about time we grew some food in a pot, on the windowsill, balcony, or garden.
Like I say, the future looks uncertain โฆ and itโs increasing. I think I already wrote somewhere about my disappointment about this future.
Yes, cats and rabbits. Iโll be looking after a rabbit in January for a whole month. :) And I will be back with Mochi for Christmas, it seems.
Awww the dragonflies! :D How lovelies. They are innocent and harmless. Unlike the other species on the beach.
The best part of this issue for my current mood. :)

Today I saw an ad that said โradio for sale, $1, volume stuck on fullโ. I thought โI canโt turn that down.โ (chortling out loud ๐)
I was here for the jokes - you never disappoint
Thanks for the mention ๐๐
Glad you like the jokes Yana - they are dreadful but the sort I like most! ๐You are more than welcome for the mention - have a great day!
